Medical malpractice is our single field of practice
What makes us uniquely strong?
We believe nobody can be an expert in everything. We concluded that the best way to reach excellence in a particular field of law is to devote 100% of our working time to that field. For that reason, in recent years the Dafin Andrei Tărău law office has directed all its efforts towards acquiring the knowledge needed to resolve medical malpractice cases.
A limited practice, for genuine expertise
Proving a medical malpractice claim is often complex, difficult and costly. The Dafin Andrei Tărău law office and its collaborators took the view that, to acquire the necessary expertise and to succeed consistently, they had to concentrate all their professional time on handling medical malpractice cases. We therefore chose to limit our legal practice to representing clients involved in medical malpractice or medical negligence proceedings.
Knowledge of medicine and forensic medicine
In this area of law it is particularly important to hold both solid legal knowledge and knowledge of general and forensic medicine. For that reason the founding attorney of the office, Dafin Andrei Tărău, decided to take a master's degree in Forensic Investigation and Legal Medicine between 2017 and 2019, at the Faculty of Medicine of the Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca.
Our collaborators
Our work would not be possible without the help and support of the team of forensic doctors with whom the Dafin Andrei Tărău law office has collaborated since completing those advanced studies. Every potential malpractice case goes through a careful selection process, and we will pursue a case only where, together with our medical experts, we are satisfied that medical error caused serious harm to a patient and that the error can be proved in court.
Our offices
We have practised from the Oradea office since 2014, but in order to meet our aim of helping people involved in medical malpractice disputes across the country, we decided to open a Bucharest office from 1 October 2024, to be closer to our clients. For the same reasons we plan to open an office in Iași in future.

The office currently brings together several lawyers marked by professionalism, tenacity and ability, working in the field of medical malpractice under the direction of the office's founding attorney, Dafin Andrei Tărău.
